Expect the Unexpected

The other day I was driving down the road and I saw a huge disco ball in the back of a pick up truck. It made me chuckle to see the beat up truck which was made for work and clearly by the looks of it had done that for many years and this oversized glittering ball used superficially to sparkle and shine. The unexpected pairing of these two brought such joy.

It made me wonder what I would be bringing into the New Year with me. Declaring all good things and all God!

This unique pairing of objects also made me realize that their main purposes were so different yet so complimentary. The truck was putting in so much work driving that disco ball to its destination, so the glittery ball of love would spin smoothly and reflect light.

we can’t do it alone. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of faith.
